Main responsibilities:

• ​Ship’s management in cooperation with the 2nd Captain according to existing law and regulations
• Managing/instructing nautical crew with docking/manoeuvring of the ship
• Assisting Captain with docking/sailing/manoeuvring of the ship (when required)
• Basic and advanced training of Sailors
• Coordinating and assigning tasks to Sailors and Deckhands for  the ship’s maintenance

Requirements:

• Good command of German and/or English language
• Competed training with valid Captain licenses for Rhine/Danube/Elbe and/or other rivers
• Minimum 1 year of experience on a similar position
• Radar and Radio Transmission licenses
• Certificates for “Safety Expert for Passenger Vessels” and “First Aid” are a benefit
• Friendly and work-oriented personality
